Free Market Jesus
Published by bryan | Filed under site news
I noticed this morning that there was a link on Don’s Site to a new video available for purchase on BlueFishTV.com. It’s a 60-minute DVD of a talk he gave called “Free Market Jesus”, and it will set you back $29.99.

thirty bucks?!?

A friend of mine works for a church which recently purchased this DVD intended for small group study. It’s a great teaching lecture, and I really enjoyed it. The only problem is that it’s really not worth 30 bucks. -Especially when there is so much other content I can just download for free from other sources. All of Mark Driscoll’s sermons are available for free. No offense to Donald Miller, I love the guy’s stuff, but it’s just not practical to pay 30 bucks to hear him preach for only 1 hour. In my opinion the DVD would be better if it contained a collection of teachings.

I love Donald Miller, but I find it somewhat ironic that a 60-min dvd about how Jesus is being marketed is being sold for $30 bucks.
