Jackson Sun Blogger on Blue Like Jazz
Published by bryan | Filed under weblog reviews
Ellen Kimbro, a blogger for the Jackson Sun, has written up some great thoughts on her recent discovery of Blue Like Jazz. Regarding how the book has met her where she’s at, she says:
This book has so spoken to my heart at this time — to my situation, to my struggles and my human condition — I’ve been stunned with each chapter, how it’s progressing right along with what I’m feeling, experiencing and even suffering inwardly.
I don’t have to tell you at this point that this is a must-read for Christians and non-Christians.
Also, according to the Jackson Sun there is a golf scramble this friday at Falcon Ridge. This has nothing to do with Don Miller, we just thought you’d like to know.

I’m not much of a golfer.
And may I just say that I just picked the book up at my church (Mars Hill Church) this last sunday, Started reading yesterday, and 13 chapters in, I can already say exactly what Ms. Kimbro has said. This book is worth more to me than I ever imagined it would be. A life-changing bunch of hours it has been. Can’t wait to finish it tomorrow and buy a bunch more copies for my friends and family.
