the Va. Tech tragedy
Published by bryan | Filed under journal entries
My thoughts and prayers this week regard the families of the students who were killed at Virginia Tech University. As there is evil operating in the world, there is also goodness. All the love and peace and comfort of Christ to you in this tragedy. May you feel the presence of God in the midst of your suffering.

My roomate and I had a deep conversation that related the Virginia Tech attack with the end times. Of course no one knows when the end times will come, but we both confessed how scared we are, how conditioned we are to peace, how unable we are in protecting our loved ones against these future troubles and tribulations. I’m not trying to scare anybody. It’s just during these serious moments, when people decide to hurt people, I can’t help but notice how much we constantly need to remind each other that God is love. I pray for those families. I pray you find comfort in this time of grief.

Prayers also for the Iraqis that deal with atrocities daily. May Christs love also be there.
