Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that i got to connect with Don for a couple minutes last week in Birmingham (the riveting details of my trip down South can be read here at my blog). Geof (the tech brains behind this thing) and myself (the not-so-great and certainly-not-powerful wizard behind the curtain) met up with Don and Derek Webb at a joint show they did last Thursday night. In fact, here’s a pic of me with derek and don.
It was Don’s last trip on a whirlwind tour, and he was excited about getting home. I told him that i had run out of his answers to your questions (that’s why i haven’t been posting any, in case you havent figured that out). He was a bit embarassed by that, and promised to try and sit down and go through a bunch of them in the near future. He also said that he had a bunch of pictures to send that he thought y’all might enjoy.
So that’s the state of the site right now. We’re in a bit of a holding pattern until Don gets cranking again, but I’m betting that he’ll start sending me stuff soon…so stay tuned.

I love that photo. I was trying to will Don and Derek into a look that said, “We don’t know why we hang out with this crazy fanboy,” and they pulled it off. But seriously, it was all smiles other than right when I shot this.

Hi Don,
Just wanted to let you know that I just read your book. I think it’s awesome. I read somewhere that you were working on a paraphrase. I was wondering if that was true. I hope so that would great!

hey Don, its Matt. you dont know me, but I feel i know you from reading your books. thanks for sharing your head and your heart with us all by the way. well i best be getting on with a question i just have to ask you. i visited a church my friend invited me to two weeks ago. at this church i was confronted with calvinism and theology on predestination. it blew my mind and i felt my heart break just a little. i’ve been looking into it and have read subjects on nominalism and realist (how thier philosphies differ) , the different views of calvin and augustine, and than arminianism enters the picture! im goin nuts man. sooo… predestination, free will, calvinism. your thoughts??? sorry but i had to ask.
