Hey,
I wanted to get your opinion on the upcoming movie The Da Vinci Code and ask, have you read the book? It seems silly to me to pay any attention to this because it is fiction, however, Dan Brown implies that it is fact. I wonder if people will go to the movie and beleive what they hear.
I would love to hear your prespective.
Karina
Karina,
I haven’t read or seen the film, but will probably go see it just for the entertainment value. People will certainly go to the movie and believe it is fact, but God also has a way of breaking through all of this. A movie like this does harm in the sense that it presents an untruth about God, but it also brings the idea up for debate, which is a good thing. It asks people to decide. But no, I’ve not read the book, only talked with knowledged friends who’ve read it.
