?? rituals before you write ??
Published by bryan | Filed under Don Answers your ???s
Don,
Are you sure you weren’t cloned at a young age? From reading your books, I’ll swear we were both part of a Star Trekian evil experiment and we were put on one of those tables and spun around and one part of me ended up in Texas and the other part of me (me) ended up in San Francisco. Well, at least that’s my theory.
That being said, and since this is an area for asking questions, I did have one question. Before you write, do you have any weird rituals you do to get you into the mood to write? I can’t seem to stop playing Free Cell and its really cutting into my writing time.
Just curious…Your CA writing twin,
Will
Will,
I don’t have any rituals before I write, but I do usually do some reading before I write. It’s not a ritual so much as it is getting in the mood. I wish I did have some rituals, and in the near future am going to have to start getting on a schedule of some sort. That may involve rituals, I’m not sure. If I thought rituals worked, though, I’d certainly use one. Perhaps sacrificing a virgin chicken?

Good luck finding a virgin chicken with society the way it is these days.

although i have heard alot of buzz lately about these “true love waits” programs that have been gaining popularity in Henhouses and Chicken Coops around the country. From what i understand, Jim Perdue is even planning on endorsing the campaign and is encouraging Tyson and Weaver to do the same.

Hahaha. Okay, that was hysterical.

Where does one find a virgin chicken? Not for any weird rituals, just curious.
question 2 - can I have 2? oh crap that’s 3 - I’m a junior high literature teacher in WA, wanna come speak to my class? More for my benefit than theirs I guess. I think you’re great.
